RULES
things to keep in mind
➤ When in doubt, follow Proboards Terms of Service.
The ToS are the rules that oversee all. Everything you do in the game must comply with them.
➤ Always be nice to everyone! From the administrator to the members to the guests around the forum, being friendly is what makes or breaks a game, so make us proud and be good to everyone you meet.
This means no trolling, name calling, making cliques, intentionally excluding people from conversations, causing drama, etc. It also means you'll need to occasionally agree to disagree and ignore people you don't get along with.
➤ Don't steal anything, ever. Doesn't matter what it is; if you didn't make it, and don't have permission, don't use it.
Whether it's art, a character design, or literary content, don't use anything you have not created yourself or received explicit permission for. Simply give credit where it's due and don't take/use what's not yours.
➤ Keep everything you do, whether in or out of character, to a PG-13 rating.
Brief mentions of mature subjects such as alcohol, sex, drugs, and violence are permissible but should not be discussed in detail. Swear words and foul language are allowed to an extent, but never use them against another member directly.
➤ Some things you do will get you kicked off the site, for a temporary period or even for good. Watch what you say and do.
We don't want to hear any talk advocating racism, sexism, bullying, death threats, and illegal activities. The moment you break this rule is the moment you give up your right to stay.
➤ Inactive accounts and all their characters, game items, etc. can be deleted at the staff's discretion.
We reserve the right to remove unused content from the site. If you don't want to be deleted, simply let us know you're going to be busy for however long, and we'll be happy to keep your progress safe.
➤ You are not allowed to powerplay, godmod, or metagame.
Powerplaying is controlling another person's character, or what happens to them. Godmodding is pretending your character is without weaknesses and thus impervious to any attack. Metagaming is giving your character knowledge they couldn't possibly have, such as what you, the player, learn OOC.
➤ Although there is no word count limit when posting IC, please always use proper English!
If it's not 100% legible and easy on the eyes, it's not allowed. This includes chatspeak and improper use of the English language. Additionally, please refrain from posting one-liners whenever possible - give others something to work with! If you can't write coherently, it'll be no fun RPing with you - so please do your best!
